DORBA Announces Record 2021 Impact

Published on 3/9/2022
The Dallas Off-Road Bicycle Association (DORBA) announced 2021 annual impacts including record-breaking number of volunteers and volunteer hours towards building and maintaining off-road bike trails in North Texas.

430 volunteers donated 16,471 hours of trail work time in 2021, which was +23% and +26% more than 2021, respectively. "2021 was a record-breaking year for DORBA in respect to the number of riders using the 24 trails we support as well as the number of volunteers making sure the trails can be enjoyed by all" said Jacob Nilz, President of DORBA. "Since the pandemic began, mountain biking has grown dramatically, and our DORBA volunteers responded by stepping up their time and talent. We cannot thank them enough".

Founded in 1988, DORBA is one of the oldest and largest off-road bicycle associations in the U.S. With a mission of providing access to great trails in North Texas, DORBA supports 200+ miles across 24 trail systems and is a 501(c)(3).
