Chelle Tischler
I started cycling in 2008 on my first used mountain bike. The racing bug started in 2016 at a DORBA race at Rowlett Creek Preserve. I realized very quickly that I’d found my passion. In 2018 I attended Barnett Bicycle School in Colorado Springs to maintain my fleet, work in bike shops and teach bike maintenance. Later in 2018, I became a PMBIA Certified Instructor. I fell in love with teaching and giving back to the cycling community. I volunteer for DORBA trail work and at Bike Gangs of FTW to wrench on bikes. I’ve partnered with parks and rec departments, DORBA, FWMBA, IMBA, bike clubs and Spider Mountain to put on low-cost or free mountain biking skills and maintenance clinics. I’ve also become a personal mountain biking coach to those who have a desire for a deeper dive into XC and enduro racing. I love racing in multiple disciplines including enduro, downhill, gravel, cyclocross, road, XC and XC marathon. My list of titles includes 2nd in Amateur Women Southern Enduro Tour 2018, 1st USAC Texas State Marathon Championship 2019, 3rd Texas State Cyclocross Championship 2021, 3rd in Pan American Cyclocross Championship 2021, 3rd in USAC Texas State Cyclocross Championship 2021, 2nd USAC Texas State XC Championship 2022, 1st National XC Championship 2022 and 3rd Enduro National Championship 2022.
