Last weekend was awesome! Even with the dreary weather we still had a great turnout, and 1,613 pounds of garbage were removed from LBH!!! This Saturday, weather permitting, we will be at LB Houston WILDWOOD DRIVE Trailhead.
Look for our YELLOW and BLUE parking flag.
• What to wear:
We will be working outdoors in areas that have poison ivy. Please wear boots or sturdy, closed-toe shoes, pants, and socks that come up to the calves. We do not recommend ankle socks, yoga pants, or leggings.
• Other personal items to bring:
Water bottle(s), sunscreen, bug repellent, sunglasses, and snacks
• Greenspace Dallas will provide:
- Trash bags and grabbers
- Safety and first aid materials
- Back up bug spray and sunscreen
- Work gloves
- Water cooler to refill your water bottle
Please note, our volunteer events are held outside and are dependent on weather conditions. We make every effort to make cancelation decisions by 3:00 pm on Friday. We will communicate any cancellations, or changes, through MeetUp and our email list.
