Are you brand new to mountain biking or need a refresher? Join us at our beginner clinic.

We'll cover the basics, along with drills and tie it all together for a group ride. 

Topics that will be covered: trail etiquette, body position, braking, shifting, turning/cornering, line selection, and small trail obstacles.

Bring your bike, your helmet, and any other safety equipment you normally use while riding. Please make sure your bike is in good working condition prior to the clinic. 

DORBA will provide water and light snacks. Please bring anything else you may want to eat.

Who: This is open to riders age 14+. Riders younger than 18 will need a parent or guardian to sign a waiver on their behalf. This clinic is for members only. Not a member? Become one today!

This clinic is limited to 15 riders. If you can’t make it, please let us know ASAP so we can make your spot available.

About your instructor: Randy has been riding mountain bikes for 12 years. He has ridden and raced mountain bikes all over Texas and in several other states. His favorite local trail is Cedar Hill State Park and his favorite destination trail is Reveille Peak Ranch in Burnet, TX.
