Are you brand new to mountain biking or need a refresher? Join us at our women's beginner clinic.

We'll cover the basics, along with drills and tie it all together for a group ride. 

Topics that will be covered: trail etiquette, body position, braking, shifting, turning/cornering, line selection, and small trail obstacles.

Bring your bike, your helmet, and any other safety equipment you normally use while riding. Please make sure your bike is in good working condition prior to the clinic. 

DORBA will provide water and light snacks. Please bring anything else you may want to eat. 

When: Sunday, March 26, 1-4 PM

Instructor: Dai Flake

Who: This is open to riders age 14+. Riders younger than 18 will need a parent or guardian to sign a waiver on their behalf.

This clinic is limited to 15 riders. If you can’t make it, please let us know ASAP so we can make your spot available.

Do you have some riding experience and can help out? We need volunteers for leads/sweeps, please sign up here.

About your instructor: Dai Flake, is a MTB enthusiast and lifetime yoga teacher. She’s been riding road and mountain bikes almost 25 years and currently rides with team Bitter Zen Racing. After many crashes she has learned the importance of continuing to learn and practice skills. She wants to share her experiences and spread the joy of riding trails with the community, especially lady shredders!
