The Fall Series is coming to Big Cedar!
Come out to race or cheer the racers on and congratulate the winners!
We are grateful to Mountain Creek Church for the opportunity to use their property to host y’all. Please respect their policy of no open display of alcohol on the property. Please do not litter nutrition products on the trail or ride bikes through the Patriot Pavilion.
Parking will be accessed from the East side. Not all streets in the neighborhood have signs so please go slow and set your Google Maps for 8701 Isom ln. The area around the Patriot Pavilion is reserved for Sponsors and Expo, please follow the directions of our parking volunteers. Parking fees for participants and volunteers are included in registration.
We are in need of volunteers to marshal the kids race, protect the road crossing, sweep after each race and set up/tear down so please contact [email protected]
if you are available to help out on Friday or Saturday!
NOTE: Due to the amount of wasted resources and trash generated by a neutral water handup, we will not be providing water bottles. A water station will be provided at the appropriate place on the course with coolers and iced water. Please bring your own water bottles!

Juniors 13-14, and 15-18 - Pre Reg - $20 / Day Of Reg - $45

Pro Open/CAT 1 (15+) - 3 Laps
CAT 2 (15+) - 2 Laps
CAT 3 (15+) - 1 Lap
First Time Racer (15+) - 1 Lap with Cat 3 field
Junior 13-14 - 1 Lap with Cat 3 field
Junior 11-12 - 4 miles, 2 laps 12U course (no big drop on SXSW)
Junior 9-10 - 2 miles, 1 lap 12U course
Junior 8 & Under - 2 miles, 1 lap 12U course
6:45AM-12:00PM - Check In & Day Of Registration (You must check in or register 30 minutes prior to your start time)
8:00AM - Pro/Cat 1 Men Race Start
8:01AM - Pro/Cat 1 Women Race Start
9:00AM - Kids Krit (free non-competitive event for the little ones not racing)
10:15AM - Junior Racer Meeting at Start Line area
10:30AM - Junior 8 & Under, 9-10 and 11-12 Race Start
10:45AM - Pro/Cat 1 Awards
11:30AM - Cat 3 Men, First Time Racer Men, & Junior 13-14 Men Race Start

**DORBA reserves the right to adjust the schedule as needed due to unforseen circumstances**
Everyone, including pre-registered racers, will need to sign a waiver onsite.
CATEGORY CHANGE REQUEST
You cannot change your category after you Check In Day of and/or Register Day of.
RACE CLOCK START
Each category will have a mass start of all participants. Your race start clock time will begin when the Race Director says GO. This will be prior to when you cross over the timing mat during your first lap. You will not cross over the timing mat until the finish of each lap.
Please do not approach the timing tent with questions or issues. Please go to the DORBA tents for assistance.
There will be a 15 minute protest period 30 minutes prior to each category awards. All protests must be made to the Race Director during this time.
There are no awards for the series but points will be calculated with first place being the lowest total of the sum of the finishing positions for participants who completed both races in the same category.

OFFICIAL DORBA RAINOUT/CANCELLATION POLICY:
All of our racing events are created with the primary intent of raising revenue AND supporting our mission to promote the sport of mountain biking, land access, and advocacy in the North Texas area. Each racing event requires substantial investment and hundreds of hours in volunteer commitment. For these reasons we will offer an “event comp” in the event of cancellation. DORBA will attempt to offer a make-up race on an established “rain date”, or apply the credit to another event. However, if you are unable to race another event, you may request a refund, but we ask that you SINCERELY consider making your registration fee a donation. Our organization could not function without your support!
