About this event
Join us Saturday October 5th for our Take A Kid Mountain Biking event in partnership with TX NICA at Erwin Park in McKinney, TX.
This event is oriented towards Middle School and High School age kids (5th Grade through 12th grade) of all levels.
The objective of this event is to also provide a platform for students who want to get involved in mountain biking, and that want to learn about racing/training on a team. The TX NICA team will be in attendance with coaches from the local teams.
Schedule
- 8:30 a.m. Check-in
- 9 a.m. Safety Briefing and Separate groups (beginner, intermediate and advanced)
- 9:15 a.m. Ride starts
- 11:00 a.m. Ride ends

- Bicycle and helmet
- Closed-toe shoes
- Water bottle or hydration pack
- Eye protection
Don’t have a bike!? We’ll have a few there for riders to try!
