About the Speakers:
Damon Williams
Damon is the owner of Cadence Cyclery (Texas & California) and Wattage Coffee Company. A Barnett Bicycle Institute-trained mechanic with 20+ years in the industry, Damon is a collegiate mountain bike racer, coffee aficionado, and world traveler. A longtime fan of the "Hell of the North," he recently lived the dream by seeing the 2026 Paris-Roubaix live — the 123rd edition of cycling's most legendary cobbled classic. Now back home, Damon is hosting a mechanic clinic, bringing his two decades of expertise straight to the DFW cycling community.
Jonas Orset: “The Nordic Trailblazer”
Orset, a Norwegian road cyclist born September 29, 1990 (Procyclingstats) , built his career across multiple disciplines and continents. As a UCI Continental pro, he raced for teams in Belgium, Colombia, Spain, China, and the US — becoming the first Norwegian to race in an Asian continental team in 2015. He transitioned into gravel and endurance racing with impressive results: two Styrkeprøven (Trondheim–Oslo) victories, back-to-back Gran Fondo World Tour wins, a world record for 10,000 meters of elevation gain, and back-to-back appearances at the UCI Gravel World Championships in the Elite category. Off the bike, he co-founded Green Cycling Norway, works as a certified coach and motivational speaker, and organizes cycling events for athletes of all ages.
