Dallas just got a new mountain bike park all thanks to the Loop, DORBA, and the Dallas Parks and Recreation Department. Let’s keep it to ourselves.

This singletrack and mountain bike skills park will offer accessibility to hundreds of thousands of people in Dallas, Texas.

The Loop Dallas and DORBA are bringing a world-class mountain bike trail system to Dallas by partnering with the Dallas Park and Recreation Department on this new 50-acre park for Dallas residents and visitors.

Rolling through the hills along Denton Creek to Grapevine Lake is the area’s hidden gem for mountain bikers and hikers — Knob Hills.

There are roughly 290 acres of land around Big Cedar Wilderness Trails that is being acquired by the City of Dallas for use as a public park, through a third-party called Trust for Public Land (TPL). DORBA supports this land acquisition and looks forward to working with TPL, City of Dallas, and the public throughout the process.

A big new Dallas Park is planned along the steep cliffs known as the Escarpment Zone in far Southwest Dallas.
